Urology Associates offers a state-of-the-art, newly-renovated laboratory conveniently located onsite at our Nashville location and a molecular diagnostic laboratory in Hendersonville. These labs are equipped with the latest equipment to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. Our dedicated lab staff is committed to providing excellence in all aspects of our testing services and in most cases, can provide same day results.

We provide DNA Next-Generation Sequencing and PCR testing to target difficult to treat urinary tract infections. We also process urine cultures, Prostate Specific Antigen testing and panels, Free and Total Testosterone panels, Complete Blood Counts, and a wide range of chemistry tests.

Urology Associates remains on the forefront in research and our laboratory works in conjunction with our numerous ongoing clinical trials for prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers.

The laboratory at Urology Associates is headed by Dr. Alex Chang and our supervisor, Kathy Ang M.T. ASCP. It is accredited with CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988) and ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Health Care). Kathy Ang has 24 years of experience in the laboratory sciences.
